Watch Yourself Grow Older

February 25, 2008

This website is cool as shit. It’s called the daily mugshot, and it tracks your physical aging every day and gives you a visual representation of you growing older.

It’s not terribly complex…….and it requires a web cam. And really all it does it take a picture of you every day.

But it’s awesome; look at what you get in the end:

I forgot to put this up when I found it, and that sucks because it’s the best site ever: what color is the empire state building.

Real sick pictures of where the subject is “invisible” in the photo. Real cool.

In this article in Star chronicling Jamie Lynn’s troubled life, she (reportedly) utters what must be the quote of the year:

Just days before announcing her pregnancy in December, Jamie Lynn shocked a boy at a party by asking him for sex. “It’s cool, I’m pregnant,” she said. “I can’t get pregnant again!”

This is pretty sad but really funny: a guy proposes to a woman at a Rockets game and gets rejected. What’s great is that the announcer predicts it and that it cracks Tracy McGrady up on camera.

A great article listing 10 unfortunate facts of life/10 things every adult should know.

Real interesting shit explaining why eating a big mac is cheaper than eating a salad.

Finally, it’s Frankie’s new favorite website: Damn Interesting. Just look at this description of it, found on MSN’s Top 10 Web Sites You’ve Never Heard Of:

If you ever find yourself sucked in by the occasional History Channel special, you’ll quickly get lost in Damn Interesting, a blog that writes long-form historical summaries of just about anything that’s, well … damn interesting. Read about the bizarre saga of the Trans-Siberian Railway, or the story of the failed invention of wireless electricity. If you’re in need of an engaging academic time-waster, you’ve found it.
